IIT Madras has developed BharOS Mobile Operating System

IIT Madras which is a University in India has developed a mobile operating system. The Operating system is made by the company named J and K Operation Private Limited, formed by IIT Madras incubated firm. The company is following PM Modi's slogan self dependent India. The company is funded by government and works under Department of Science and Technology of the Central Government of India. The developers of BharOS are claiming that the OS has been designed to provide a more data privacy. IIT Madras says that through this OS your data will be safe and data will not be sold to any company. And the company says that in future this OS will be used in commercial headsets. Users will not see any pre-installed applications in this BharOS. This gives the user complete control over his data. And the company says that it will continue to provide regular updates.
